This picture has been taken last December in London, but I met all of them at Leoncavallo on saturday night, we were all there for the MI AMI ANCORA.
It has been a great surprise! They left London and now live in Milano.

FUNDRAISING FOR ART PROJECTS

Lovely atmosphere, nice and less nice ideas, good food that's what I found Sunday morning thanks to Granaio's brunch at Casa Strasse.
Granaio is a project consisting of a monthly brunch, where artists present their ideas and people decide who to vote for.
You pay ten euros, Granaio covers all the expenses for food and gives the remaining to the most voted idea.

Who won this first edition? boîte the project I also voted for.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO
Rita that had her 45th birthday yesterday

met on 27 january

This is Ivan, Aula Fumo, Milano

Ivan is the Skype king. You can find him everyday in Aula Fumo talking via Skype with his friends.
He is from Kazahstan and yesterday I took a look at some pictures from his country. I never imagined how Kazahstan could look like.
I hence invented a (stupid but interesting) game: think about a country you never thought about and imagine its colors, its landscapes. Go on flickr and see how it really looks like. It is always sooo different from how you imagined it!

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT MEETING
Achille Castiglioni

met on 22 january

I'm not updating metyesterday because exams are neutralizing my social life.

PS Yigit (take a look at my last post) has been hired for an internship at Frankie Morello!

I WASH MY HAIR WITH
Blondie, the solid shampoo you can buy at LUSH!
No packaging, less pollution, save money (100g = 150 washings)!

met on 11 january

This is Yigit, his application picture for Frankie Morello, Facebook

Yigit, my turkish classmate, had a smart wonderful idea.
He decided to apply for an internship at Frankie Morello, but how did he do that?
His application is maybe the best one I have ever seen.
He created a group on Facebook "Yigit Turhan merita di essere il nuovo stagista da Frankie Morello" and there he posted photos in the form of comic strips in which he presents himself and his CV in a really unusual and funny way.
JOIN THE GROUP! SUPPORT HIM!

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT..
if you could provide me this dress for free.

Heavy study session chez Sonia.
Tried to call 4 pizzerias in the Epiphany day to have lunch.
We finally found an open one "No free drinks with pizza cause today is holiday"
We don't know holidays - we study during holidays.
"Yeahhhhhhhh" somebody would say.

WE WILL KICK BOCCONI'S BIG ASS

NEW YEAR NEW HOUSE

These are Franci and Alice, our new house, Milano

2010 - new decade - new house - new housemates

Franci is a photographer and works as a make-up artist,
while Ali studies interior design.
We love our little two floors bunker!

WE ARE ONLY WAITING FOR

This is Antoine, Brick Lane Market, London

Les français que j'ai connu à Milan sont foux.
Les français que j'ai connu à Milan et que maintenant vivent à Londres sont vraiment foux.
Antoine est particulièrement fou.
He brought us to The Village, a gay club that on monday gives beers for 2 pounds.
He is not gay, but he goes to gay clubs because girls go there to have fun.

These are the Italian housemates, at Paul's, London

Paul fell in love with Italy. That's clear.
Also in London he lives with Italian people.
Funny people.

IT WOULD BE GREAT HAVING
a wall like this.

met on 12 december

These are Tube and Paul, at Paul's, London

Tube, my fellow traveller. Paul, housed us in his flat.
Discovering London with you has been absolutely fascinating.
In love with the Bangla London.
In love with beigels at Brick Lane Beigels Bake.
But I still hate Chinese food.

Miss Keyboard, Docklands, London

IN LOVE ALSO WITH..
..this magic garden along the way to the Limehouse.
"Here lives an old man, once he had children, now he is alone and The Capital will sweep away also him.."
we imagined for long time the story of this garden.

met on 8 december

These are Nico and Johnny, at my place, Azzano Mella

People like my house, my brother or my door bell.
There is always somebody ringing the doorbell, every hour of the day, asking for my brother. Here Johnny was telling us gossip of the previous night.
When I took this picture we were having lunch, but I like the unpredictability of my house.

I REALLY LIKE THE IDEA
of an unconventional speaker.
Conceived, designed and built by my brother.

met on 5 december

This is Skin, at RockFarm Party, Brescia

At first, when we heard about this dj-set by Skin, we where not convinced at all. Will it be a nice party? What kind of music will she make us dance?
We tried to go to this party. Very good choose.
We enjoyed a lot, we danced a lot, we loved her a lot.
