This is L'Oréal Italia office, Milano

Some months ago I played the Reveal business game by L'Oréal and I've been selected among the best Italian players! Yesterday I participated to the first B-Revealed event organized by L'Oréal Italia and had the opportunity to visit the company, meet lots of young people and test my competencies in front of L'Oréal managers.
Challening, a bit frightening, but exciting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO
Angelo is now 23 years old
We met 3 years ago thanks to Sex and the City and yesterday I forgot its birthday! Yes, my mind was somewhere else. When I opened facebook and read all the birthday wishes.. I felt so bad that I wrote him a stupid funny poetry to say sorry.

This is Facco, at 24, Salò

Facco, the Apple fanatic.
He already bought 3 iPad: one for me, one for my dad and one for the office (dental surgery). After singing the praises of Apple products, the conclusion has been: "Steve Jobs is a visionary. And he is also left wing."
Phenomenal Facco.

This is Michela, at 24, Salò

Michela, beautiful photographer and designer showing her brand new cards.
www.michelacavalleri.com is still under construction but you can take a look at her shots HERE!

This is Nicole, at 24, Salò

We spent some GREAT time together when we were 18... we definitely need a reunion! She now lives in Madrid and I was really surprised and happy to meet her on Garda Lake yesterday night.

15.15 train, I sat at 15 and woke up at 15.40.. the train was still stopped at the station. The Milano-Brescia line was out of order "the train has been cancelled". I got off the train to catch the next one and I met them.

My lunch, at my place, Milano

Exam at 14.30, during lunch I'm still on time to learn something new.
Proud of my piadina (flat bread) with:

- cashew nuts
- olive oil, salt and black pepper

HERE IS MY VERY-STRANGE-BEAUTIFUL-BUNKER-HOUSE
once it was a bakery, called PanePasta

These are Quel Gigante Orso Trio, at Sound Metak, Milano

Quel Gigante Orso Trio: Davide, Andrea, Samuele. Three guys from Cecina (Tuscany) playing praiseworthy music.
I already knew them before yesterday, but it was my first live -> fell in love with their music.

These are Dino, Ste and Marchino, at Idroscalo Luna Park, Milano

MI AMI Festival = so many people
After being crushed in a reggae crowd (Africa Unite concert), we decided to go to the Luna Park: ALIENATING experience. It was 2.30 am and that place was full of people! The Mc Donald's was full of people. Everybody was happy, even the Mc Donald's waiters. Maybe on drugs, probably on drugs; I swear it, everybody was smiling/laughing/bursting with happiness.

These are Andrea, Jonathan, Lorenzo, Alis, Alice and Angelo, at my place, Milano

I have two exams to prepare for next week. It's fundamental to me being able to wake up in early morning in order to have an entire day for my books.
Unusual alarm-clock yesterday morning.. I woke up when Angelo entered my room asking for my lens fluid, while Alice was singing softly in her bedroom. Voices from the kitchen.. let's go down and meet.. all of them just came back home. I LOVED waking up and having breakfast with people drinking infusions before going sleeping (also if nobody of them went sleeping till yesterday evening)!

These are Giulia, Marta and Marta, at parco Ravizza, Milano
(pic by Clo)

After my breakfast with "after-guys" I went picnicking at the park.
Marta (the curly haired) finished her MBA in Scotland and now is writing her final thesis. She came visiting us (and, actually, her boyfriend) and organized this picnic on this sunny but windy day. Even Giulia and Marta break off from non-stop-study at the library (I think they'll have an exam today or tomorrow).

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT MEETING
Laura Palmer
yes, I beat my childish fear and yesterday I began the Twin Peaks series.

met on 29 may

These are Angelo and Tati, at my place, Milano

I know, you can't see their faces, but hell, I love this picture.
Tati moved in Milan in September and it's more or less five months I know her. Angelo and Tati are great together, Angelo airhead, Tati the crazy.
Angelo is leaving for somewhere in Japan next autumn, Tati is moving in its room. Yeah, my new housemate!

IT HAS BEEN GREAT BUYING
well, benefit doesn't fall within all the "green cosmetics" i LOVE, but it's miraculous.

This is Anna, pic stolen from her facebook

Yesterday I went at Betty's to help her prepare an exam in business and accounting. Anna lived with Betty till last month, but she is staying there for the week while two other housemates went on a boat-trip in The Netherlands.
Thanks for the lunch, the grapefuit and blueberry juice, and advices on how to curl hair!
I chose the picture on the beach cause she lives on Garda lake, she is always there and she's tanned almost all year long. Hate.

This is Irene, at Tunnel, Milano

Economize on drinks: prepare them home in juice bottles!
Problems come when you find yourself behind the central station, under the railroad, wearing mini-skirt, and you NEED to go for a pee.
A sort of grove saved us: thanks to Stefano the "bodyguard" we found our hiding place among bushes, old clothes, cans and plastic bottles.

IT HAS BEEN GREAT MEETING
BESt is a student union recently born in my university. Here is the mission:
BESt - Bocconi Equal Students is the students association promoting respect for the many identities in our university and in the places we live. We support the respect for any form of gender diversity and sexual orientation by organizing events, conferences and debates on the arguments.

met on 13 may

This is my Brand Management class, Università Bocconi, Milano

In two weeks we had 15 hours classes with professor Kfuri. Amazing professor from Argentina, that teaches in Hannover and maybe does something else in Mexico, but of Italian origin. I didn't understand.
The thing is that he has been able to make us enjoy these 15 hours of lesson, thanks to real cases and many anecdotes.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT MEETING
Cristobal, one among the 12 inhabitants of Miravete de la Sierra, spanish village promoted thanks to an unusual marketing campaign that comprehends a set of 12 little statues representing the real inhabitants.
Here you can have an idea of what it consists of:

met on 11 may

These are Marchino, ?, Martina and Davide, Egea bookshop, Milano

Part of the Radio Bocconi staff, they are selling tickets for the Radio Bocconi party. They already sold 600 tickets.
I spent some time with them closed into Egea, because of the flood outside, but
finally I decided to go home, flood or not flood. No umbrella as always, I obviously had to wait for the tram; the 200meters walk for home from the tram-stop turned me into a soaked sponge.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT HAVING

met on 9 may

This is Elena, at hers, Milano

(I asked her to send me a picture cause yesterday I forgot to take one)
Hateful workgroup for Tetra Pack at Elena's. It's sunday afternoon, it's pouring, I don't have an umbrella and I have the magic idea to stop at GROM for an ice-cream. The rain melted the ice-cream over my hand, I got lost, but finally found her house.
What a beautiful house! At least her posh-Milanese apartment lightened my hate toward the project we had to work on.
Thanks for hospitality and paprika chips!

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT MEETING
Milena Gabanelli
one of the few reasons why television is still worth to be watched.

This is El Mehdi, at Vinile 45, Brescia

El Mehdi comes from Casablanca but perfectly speaks Italian, Brescia dialect and Naples dialect is still waiting for Italian citizenship, but arrived here 17 years ago. Unbelievable.
He finally explained me why everybody calls him Jin, this means demon in Arabic.

WAITING FOR
a trip to Casablanca

These are Marchino, Tube, Giovanni, Ste at Old Fox Pub, Milano

6pm, we still have to discuss the Heineken case after a never-ending day.
Let's go to the Old Fox and talk in front of a good problem solver beer.

Bill Murray as Steve Zissou in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

Unfortunately I fell asleep after the first 15 minutes. Workgroups and classes turned me into a broken woman.

This is Rob, pic stolen from his Facebook, but we are in Milano

Heavy Monday evening in via Brioschi.
On Monday evening, no matter if it is pouring or if you are dead tired or if you are sick, Rob's house is The Place.
The place to fossilize on a chair, watching YouTube videos, talking about that nothing you really need to talk about on monday evening.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT MEETING

These are Chiara and Amos, May Day, Milano

May Day, 4 hours to cover 1km! Not bad!
Amos studied with Dino or something similar, we had to meet him and his girlfriend during the parade. Easy? Not at all. Had to walk over corso Ticinese four times before meeting them but we finally found each other. Thanks for the short and loudly time spent together.
We lost when we met..

These are Betty and Stella, May Day, Milano

We knew we were at the May Day, but we casually met. Happiness and hugs! Betty's face when you casually meet her is inimitable!
It is always more more more than a pleasure meeting them.

I COULD HAVE FURNISHED MY HOUSE WITH
a new white sofa!

These are Mariaregina and Massimo, at their silver wedding, Brescia

One year ago she started planning their silver wedding (25th anniversary) and the result has been amazing: more than 80 people in an absoultely familiar atmosphere. Everybody helped bringing some food, a lot of food, and flowers, many flowers.
What I can say is Hurray to the happy couple!

here is the "product" of this long-lasting marriage.
